Greetings!
"Get out of the way Sheep Shagger!"
Not a line you would expect to hear in a tv commercial made in New Zealand eh?
It's just one of a bunch of very funny moments in our TVC of the month promoting Toyota's "unbreakable" Hilux.
Demonstrating your product and its unique selling point is a sound sales strategy that has been around forever.
The makers of this ad though have taken the idea a little further and achieved it in an engaging way to ensure the audience takes notice.
At its core this ad simply shows:
- How tough this ute can be and
- Who would want to own one.
And don't forget to scroll down for news from our latest TV ratings data. Until next month

Enjoying a tv show like the Vicar of Dibley is a bit like being an ABBA Fan.
It's something you'll indulge in behind closed doors but would NEVER admit to your friends.
Well the cat's out of the bag folks. One of the most quirky facts we've extracted from our latest lot of ratings data from AGB Nielsen is GWN's Vicar of Dibley has been attracting strong audiences across all age categories.
Not just a show for Nanna then!
As well as the cheeky Vicar, our data shows GWN dominated various demographics last month with the Fremantle v Collingwood Friday night game proving a hit as big as a Buddy Franklin hip and shoulder.
WIN captured strong audience share in the 25 to 54 age group for episode two of Underbelly but interest has waned since then.
It's up against Bones in the same timeslot which is doing very well through a range of demographics.
On SBS Bear Grills has been getting plenty of attention but the station's most popular program this year to date is Iron Chef.
Be interesting to see what effect the World Cup has on that result. Other programs of note include Seven News which claimed the Number One spot in the 40+ age category.
Grocery Buyers like all of the above as well as Force Behind The Line and Australia's Got Talent.
