March 2012Issue No.3

Hi Everyone,

We hope this message finds you warm and well this winter's day. It surprises me how fast the winter is passing by this year...or is it that I'm simply getting older and time really does fly when you are doing what you love?! Regardless, it's hard to believe that spring is really just around the corner!

February with it's flurry of activities flew by and our newly expanded store re-opened February 1st with a fresh new look and a lager selection of handcrafted items from area artists. We also celebrated our second Annual Mad Hatter's Tea which was truly over the top this year! Guests enjoyed scrumptious meals and delectable desserts prepared by the chefs of the Rabbit Room.  Adults and children mingled in their festive attire enjoying music and many festivities. Nancy Wiley, our featured artist along with Mary Lynn and Robert Good of Goff Creek Pottery, filled the gallery with their AMAZING creations -it was quite spectacular!

It was especially exciting this year because we had the good fortune of being photographed by Hilary Argentieri of Rochester NY for a national publication -Where Women Create magazine! This yummy, eye candy filled publication features creative women in their studios and showcases their art and craft businesses. The pages are filled with inspirational stories told by the artist themselves and it also features events like ours...what an honor to be among these talented artists and grace the beautiful pages of this magazine!

We are also very excited to let you know that we now carry Where Women Create and Where Women Cook along with three other publications from Stampington and Company. Top on my list is Green Craft, a magazine designated to creative projects utilizing up-cycled elements and there's also Stampers' Sampler for artists and crafters looking for REALLY creative ideas for stamping! Somerset Life, another artfully crafted publication with unique concepts for home decor, gift giving entertaining, also features artful bloggers from all creative walks of life!

So If you are needing a source for a little creative inspiration to get you through the last weeks of the winter you may want to stop by and grab yourself a copy of one of these oh so inspiring magazines -while our limited supply lasts!

We look forward to seeing you soon, Tamara & Debbie
