This month is the last month for Jinny's Garden, our incredibly popular block-of-the-month quilt. Here's what you need to know:
The complete pattern, including the last block and the finishing instructions, will be available free online until February 28! After that, the pattern will be available ONLY for purchase. Please make sure that you have all the patterns downloaded and printed; after the 28th, we will not be able to send you a pattern that you might be missing. Don't worry, however: we will send you a reminder before the end of the month!
To celebrate the completion of this project, we've put some special backing fabrics on sale just for you, too. All the details are below.

Quilters Newsletter Magazine Features Blocks From My Book
|  The February/March issue of Quilters Newsletter Magazine features four blocks from my book, The Quilter's Album of Patchwork Patterns.
The blocks are interlocking designs so they create wonderful all-over patterns. The article includes full-sized templates and instructions for completing them by hand or machine.
The blocks include curves and set-in seams so they're not for the absolute beginner. But if you cut and mark carefully and take care pinning and sewing, they are certainly within reach of someone with some sewing experience. I think they'd make a wonderful hand-sewing project.

Coraline - Advance Fabric Orders & New Free Pattern

We recently received our preliminary yardage of my new Coraline collection and expect thousands of yards to arrive within a couple of weeks.
There are 30 fabrics in the collection, including five colorways of the border print.
The fabrics -- yardage, plus fat quarter or fat eighth samplers -- are available on an advance order basis.
We'll also begin shipping Coraline Quilt kits as soon as the fabric arrives. The kit will be available in two colorways, teal and gold.

New Free Block-of-the-Month Quilt - Starting in March!
|  Jinny's Garden proved to be such a popular feature with our newsletter subscribers that we've decided to launch a new project for 2011. Just like our last quilt, Jinny's Journey is free only for our newsletter subscribers.
I've had the good fortune to travel all over the world. This quilt celebrates those journeys and is designed to let you explore a variety of sewing techniques. And I've organized the quilt so you'll be able to complete it in this calendar year.
Next month, you'll be able to download the first free block pattern. At that time, we'll also be ready with complete kits, fabric bundles and everything you might need to get started. I promise lots of lessons and tips (and some bonus projects!) along the way to ensure that everyone can be successful making Jinny's Journey.

you can download the last block pattern and the finishing instructions for Jinny's Garden.
The complete Jinny's Garden pattern will be available as a free download through February 28. After that, the pattern is available only as a complete, printed set for $25.
