Leading up to their special day, we are giving mom's their due!  We would like to hear from you about YOUR special mother - share with us a special memory, honorary poem, or tells us what your mother means to you and we will post your replies here the week prior to Mother's Day.  If you have a favorite picture to include, send it along and we will publish it with your note.

CLASSIFIEDS

Wanted: Licensed teachers.

Willing to give up a year of their lives to work in very primitive conditions, long hours, probably with great frustration at times: living conditions may not be the best and may be eating unfamiliar food. Benefits: Kids that will love you instantly but be totally afraid of you. Parents who will be grateful but unable to express their gratitude because they don't understand how someone would come this far, leave the comfort of their homes to help THEIR child in a village. Positions are available for kindergarten thru grade 6; primarily grades 4, 5, 6 in teaching English. English as a second Language experience will be a blessing. High School English teachers - willing to begin where the kids are at - mostly lower primary levels. Math and Science teachers - teaching in English.  Most schools will provide a place to live and help with food. Some schools will be receiving additional funds if they have qualified Native English teachers.

Guaranteed, never a dull moment; prayer and the power of God will be needed every single day. Challenges will be many, but our God is a great one and he can handle anything, can't he? Positions are available in schools with students from about 40 students in the whole school to several hundred. All in need. All positions are in village schools - usually small villages. All are within about a 50-mile radius of the Christian Mission.

Paperwork process can be lengthy and challenging. ::))
If interested, contact Dr. John Middlewood, jmidds@hotmail.com.
