A Note From Lindsay....

I found out today that my tuition account has been paid in full.  Today is truly special.  I can remember not only the debt of my sins that was paid for on the cross by the Lord Himself, but I can also be grateful in the debt of my tuition that has been paid.  I am grateful for the church family He has provided for me.  I feel extremely blessed in my life and in the opportunities ahead of me because of this year at BICS. 

 

Just think, so much wouldn't be possible without this very day 2,000 years ago.  Had God not come down in the person of Jesus Christ, lived a perfect life, died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and rose again to triumph over death and reign as Lord in our lives, I may not have known you, I may not have had a purpose in my education and I certainly couldn't have been provided with the financial and personal blessings God has provided through the trust I have put in Him.

 

Thank you so much.  You can't put a dollar amount on my thankfulness right now.

  • LOVING, the fourth and final book of the Bailey Flanigan series by Karen Kingsbury is here!  Story complete! 
  • Remember when THE RAGMUFFIN GOSPEL was so popular? The author, Brennan Manning has written his memoir, ALL IS GRACE. A former Franciscan priest and a recovering alcoholic, Manning's ministry has taken him down a variety of paths all for the sake of helping others experience God's love and grace.
  • Some new Bill Gaither CDs and DVDs have been donated for our enjoyment

 

 

 
QUILTING or CRAFTING?
 
Women's Ministry is having a Quilting /Craft day on Saturday, April 21st starting at 9:30 a.m. until noon.  Pamee will be bringing along her knitting and crocheting so if you are interested in learning any of these craft types (quilting,knitting or crocheting), come join the ladies for lessons, fun and conversation.  A brunch will be provided.  Please contact Pamee if you have any questions at (206) 406-5115 or via email: pumi7864@yahoo.com 
 
 
WOMEN'S SELF DEFENCE CLASS BEGINS IN APRIL 

 

 

A Women's Self Defense class will begin Friday, April 27th and run for four consecutive weeks. The cost is $15 to take the class and space is limited.  Classes will be held in the Fellowship Hall and participants will want to dress comfortably, no special equipment required.  Please contact Dawn Velarde if you are interested in participating. This course offers great information and tips for all activity levels and ages.

Dinner begins at 6:00, lesson starts at 6:45

   Women's Ministry Meets Monthly 

 

All women are welcome - ask your girl friends to come join us on the 3rd Saturday of each month at West Valley Church from 9:30 to Noon for fellowship, devotions, sharing, outings, quilting and crafts.

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next Men's Breakfast April 13

The next men's breakfast will be on Friday, April 13th at 7:00 a.m. No special invitation required, just show up and enjoy a hot breakfast, conversation and fellowship!

You can submit bulletin and/or e-news article submissions using our online submission form at www.westvalleychurch.org/forms.html at any time.

 

Please note that ENEWS submissions need to be received no later than 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday of the week you want the article to run.

 

Bulletin submissions need to be received no later than Thursday evening of the week the article needs to run. You can also use this online form to submit Prayer and Praise for the e-news.
