THIS SATURDAY, FEB 4TH--- REC CENTER WORK DAY!

 

The Rec center is really taking shape - kudos to Ron and his team for the hundreds of hours they have put in getting the facility into shape!  We still have a lot to do and you can help this Saturday, February 4th, from 9-3.  Focus for the day will be on cleaning all windows and floors, interior painting and yard work around the house (please bring your own small gardening tools).  Lunch will be provided.

West Valley Hosts The WWBC Conference

If you are interested in finding out what is going on in our conference, attending the conference will provide insight into the many topics currently affecting churches in our region.  The conference begins with a breakfast in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30.  Lunch will also be provided.  Contact Pastor Keith if you have any questions about the conference.

Our Hospitality team will be providing meal and coffee service and is looking for a few volunteers who would be available to help.  If you would like to take part in welcoming the conference attendees through Hospitality, please speak with Kathy Wheaton, Kathy Durkee.

 

  

    

 

 

Youth Sponsored Valentine's Dinner - February 12th

 

 

 

The Youth are once again putting on their fundraising Valentine's Dinner on Sunday, February 12th, at 6:00 p.m.  All proceeds support the Youth Scholarship Fund.  The cost is donation-based, so come enjoy a lovely meal and show your support for youth ministries through your attendance!. 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

Women's Ministry Doll Art Museum Tour- February 18th

 

 

   

 

 

Women's Ministry is hosting an outing to the Rosalie Whyel Museum of Doll Art in Bellevue, followed by lunch in a local Bellevue restaurant. In 1994, the Whyel Museum was awarded the Jumeau Award at the World Congress of Dolls for the best private doll museum worldwide.  Unfortunately, the museum will close permanently this spring so this may be your last opportunity to view this extraordinary collection.   

 

 

 

The ladies will meet at the Church to carpool and plan to leave at 9:00 a.m. Admission to the Museum is $10.00 / $9.00 Seniors.

Women's Ministry Meet's Monthly - 3rd Saturdays

 

 

 

All women are welcome - ask your girl friends to come join us on the 3rd Saturday of each month at West Valley Church from 09:30 to Noon for fellowship, devotions, sharing, outings, quilting and crafts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The next men's breakfast will be on Friday, February 17th at 7:00 am .  This is a great opportunity to get to know the guys in the church just a little bit better and find out who reigns at the grill and who rocks the dishwasher!
