Hymn Service Scheduled for July 11
Mark
your calendars and come prepared to share in our hymn service on July 11.
We are
asking all members to come with their requests for hymns to sing, along
with
their testimony regarding how their selection has inspired their faith.
Please
plan to use this time to encourage your church family by sharing your
favorite
hymn's meaning for you. Ella Mae Durkee - Kenny's mom -
has agreed to play piano for us during this service and a fellowship
meal will
follow.

Services for Kathleen Forbes Dear family and friends,
As some of you know, mom passed away Friday, June 18 after
complications
related to old age. Her attitude and spirit was very good right up to
the
end. Thanks to the around the clock dedication and efforts of daughters
Ann and Margaret, she was given wonderful care and attention in her last
days. She displayed a lot of love to her family and friends and having
her children by her side in her last days helped ease the pain that she
suffered. She will be greatly missed. There will be a graveyard service for her at 11:00 AM this Saturday, June
26
at the Bow Cemetery in Bow, Washington. Those who are interested are
invited to the Farmhouse Restaurant where we will be eating following
this
service. This is a no-host event. There will also be a memorial service for her at 3:00 PM on Friday July
2 at
the Chapel of the Resurrection, 16300 112th Ave NE, Bothell,
Washington. This location is where she attended church and is part of the Cedar Park
Assembly of God complex near the I-405 and 160th exit. Refreshments
will
follow this service. We have a lot of email addresses but we never have all of them. Please
forward this to your family members and others who knew and
loved our Mom. Bow Cemetery 15778 Bow Cemetery Rd. News from Tom and Nelda, Our Missionaries in the Philippines We send our greetings from Mati and also want to
let you know that we now have a web site. If anyone wants to view it, go
to tomandnelda.net. Our
website was
designed by one of the graduates from CANDOR technical college here on
the
Agape compound. With many IT professionals around this compound, it is
not hard to keep up with the high-tech world! If you want to link this
to
the West Valley site that would be fine also. This will be our primary
method of keeping people informed. Please extend our love to all the
fine
folks at West Valley. Tom and Nelda
