Coffs coast surf newsletter 23rd December 2009
No takers on a beautiful summers morning
Sure we haven't had the best waves over the last 3 months, but there has been something to surf every day, if you just paddled out and went surfing you would already know this, believe me many haven't bothered, missing out I reckon.
This weeks gallery hasn't got a lot of people on waves because there haven't been that many surfing. I bet it will get crowded when the first swell does hit.
The new gallery is titled "Waves from 8th-23rd Dec 2009"

The ST SURF Images blog is churning out something new 5 days a week. Mostly you will get a hit of what went on at one of beaches that morning, keep checking to find out if you end up been one of my subjects or just check out what you did or didn't miss each morning.
Those of you who did check the blog this week would have seen that we have released another video clip on Vimeo. It's of stylish logger Jack Lynch, surfing some sliders at the Pass in Byron Bay, click below link to go to the clip

Mick Matthews has got a quiver that makes sure he can surf everyday, and he bloody well does
Well most of you guys will have the next few days or maybe weeks off, so what's the surf gonna do?
Well surf reports are pointing to a rising east swell starting late on boxing day and increasing throughout the weekend, not big but we might get something head high.... yahhoo!, hopefully the winds are kind to us and the crowd is well spread. There should be something happening Christmas day too, so if you can spare an hour or two get out there and have a social surf with your mates and be friendly to the happy tourists.
Long term outlook is for continued east-north-east swell keeping our beachies alive for the holiday period.

christmas barrels?

Barrels on Christmas day would be nice
