Main Street will be full of plein air artists (50 or more) creating,
selling and teaching in downtown Ventura and thousands of
strolling visitors and dozens of street performers as part of the
fourth creative adventure called Paint Ventura September 28-30.

Italian Renaissance Fashion Show
& Marketplace Oct 7

Free StoryFest celebrates kids and books on Oct 13

 

The sixth annual StoryFest celebrates kids and books on Saturday, Oct 13, 9 am-3 pm, in the beautiful park area at Ventura Unified School District Education Service Center, 255 W Stanley Ave. For this FREE story time event young children and their families are invited to fill their StoryFest passports by visiting our six story tents (with readings in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language) and our booths featuring interactive art, music, science, and physical activities. Seaside Highland Games return Fairgrounds October 13-14

 

The U.S. Marine Corps 1st Marine Division Band will join the tenth anniversary celebration of Scottish heritage at the Seaside Highland Games Oct 13-14 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds with bands, parades, fiddle and dart competitions, Celtic music, more than 80 clan societies and "large men throwing stuff."
