The next few weeks of RDNews will be dedicated to looking at our company's brand and some exciting news about HM Composite coming up in the near future. Look for a PunchBowl evite for our 35th Anniversary party coming up on Thursday, March 24, 2011 and make sure you RSVP!  

What is our Brand?

What does our company, HM Composite stand for? What does the name mean? If you know the original names behind the initials (before it became Healthcare Management Composite in 1985), then you may be our longest term employee!

 

When we look at our company's brand identity, we want it to be a promise to customers of quality and consistency from a single, identifiable supplier. Successful brands will:

-       Deliver on the promise

-       Use proprietary names and symbols

-       Hold value for customer and corporation

-       Are distinctly positioned in the customer's mind and in the market

 

Everything we do builds customer brand perception and everything a company does sends a message to its customers. All contacts can either reinforce or harm a company's position. Every dietitian and every contact with your facilities, residents and staff contribute to the market impression of HMC. Every call or email with administrative or office staff creates a market impression of HMC.

 

Our branding objective is to:

-       Accurately position HM Composite

-       Differentiate from our competition

-       Craft messages that communicate the brand

-       Create brand assets (logos, materials, forms) that represent the brand

-       Increase awareness to our target audiences

-       Walk the talk

 

What do we want our brand personality to say about us? The dietitians and staff of HMC are Professional, Consistent, Friendly, Passionate, Experienced, Skilled, Fair, Reliable, and Trusted.

 

Dear Dietitian

It is a sincere privilege for me to lead the premiere California Registered Dietitian consulting firm. In March we will celebrate 35 successful years of Healthcare Management Composite, HM Composite, HMC or just The Composite. Did you know that over 500 HMC RD's have served California facilities and seniors over these decades?

 

The Executive management team at HMC has been studying marketing concepts for a few months. We want to better position HMC for its mission and purpose. That review with stakeholders and clients has confirmed that we need to make a very big, bold and important change. This has been a tightly held secret while waiting for US government trademark approval. There is no change to the ownership, management or organization of HMC.

 

Our company's new name, logo and brand identity will be introduced at our 35 Year Anniversary Celebration on March 24th. We hope every HMC dietitian and employee is there for this exciting unveiling of our new image.
