Egg Recall
A Salmonella outbreak nationwide has led to the recall of millions of shell eggs. Although health care facilities are being notified by their grocery vendors of any product recalls in their areas, HMC RDs need to be aware and check the refrigerators during their visits. The recalled eggs are packaged under the following brand names: Lucerne, Alberston, Mountain Dairy, Ralph's, Boomsma's, Sunshine, Hillandale, Trafficanda, Farm Fresh, Shoreland, Lund, Dutch Farms and Kemps.
