Thanks to all of you that responded to last week's RDNews and took the quiz to test your knowledge of the state Title 22 regulations. Are you as ready as you think you are to help your facilities comply with California state regulations?
Here are the results from the quiz last week:
- 54% correct for the required menu postings
- 77% correct for the dietary schedule postings
- 30% correct for the resident profile card
- 38% correct on the menus filed
- 75% correct on beverages dispensed
- 31% correct on the diet manual revision
The correct answers can be found by reading Title 22 regulations on the HMC website.

- Print a copy of the Title 22 tool below and place it in your reference binder or RD binder at the facility.
- Share a copy with the DSS and ED for survey readiness.
- Read the regulations and posting requirements and check for compliance.
- Do your facilities have resident profile cards on file with the required information?
- Are menus as served kept on file for 30 days?
- Are records of food purchases kept on file for 1 year?
- Are menu changes written, dated and posted?
