RD Reports Going High Tech

The new report system for HMC Consultant Dietitians is available and in the final beta-test this month. Perhaps you have already clicked on the link for our Facility Report Card on the HMC staff website. This high tech innovation will bring statistical benchmarking and provide a valuable reporting system to HMC clients. This new RD report will be electronically transferred to the HMC server and shared with management staff in a much more effective manner. No more faxes to the office! All web-based reports you provide to clients will be available on-line and remain available in the future. Also, in addition to printing, you can email the report to facility management staff, or even yourself.

This year HMC has been investing in our company infrastructure to help our dietitians. We know you will love this new system because it captures all areas of the Dietary Department and facility nutritional care. It provides the Administrator an in depth look at how the facility is truly functioning. The scoring in this report quantifies the quality of care. Since this is different than our past reports, you will need additional training and to use your professional communication skills to explain the report to Administrators, Dietary Supervisors and other key staff. This valid QA begins the opportunity to partner with Administration on improvements to implement Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to create better outcomes for the Dietary Department and the residents.
