UPDATES

Earthquake Backpack Reminder:  In the month of July earthquake backpacks were taken out to be updated and returned back for the New Year. We are no longer requesting that you bring a backpack, instead please bring a Large Zip Lock Bag (Clearly labeled with your child's name). This is stored here at school in case of an emergency; we store enough food and water to last 3 days for our children and staff.  There is an annual fee of $25 required to replenish these goods each year.  Kits are to be turned in by September 15, 2010 in the main office.

EZ Care Update: Currently we are in the process of updating our EZ Care sign in and out system. We are now assigning pin numbers for mommies and daddies as well as emergency contacts and caretakers. This will help us keep better tabs on who is picking up the children as well as relay messages to the exact person that we are communicating to. If for any reason you have trouble signing in or out please make sure to check our pin # assignment sheet and see if your pin number has not been changed during this transition.

Spring Break Added: To ensure that our teachers stay fresh and get a break we have now added spring break to the school's calendar. This means April 18-22, 2011 we will be closed for Spring Break. We are   mirroring LAUSD scheduled spring break week so that parents that have children enrolled in the local elementary schools have the same times off as our school.

New Teachers at CK: Please welcome Ms. Ana and Ms. Alicia to Camelot Kids. They are both very excited to be summer substitutes but will become permanent teachers for us in the Fall. Please stop and say hello and check our website for their bios.

We want to wish all our Big Dragons the best of luck starting Kindergarten.  Please make sure you come back and visit us often.

We will miss you.

Sincerely,

Renae Plant
