Important Dates

Monday November 2nd - NEW SIGN IN/OUT PROCEDURES - EZ CARE SYSTEM
We are very excited to introduce our new EZ care software which is specifically designed for pre-schools and to help make our admin life easier and more organized and our school safer overall.

As of Monday we require all parents to sign in/out in the main office on our new touch screen monitor.  (there will be no more sign in books at the front gate)  Ms Sherilyn will be on hand to help you through this initial process and to inform you of your child's unique pin number.  This pin allows you to access your records directly, sign in/out, view schedules, tuition due/paid, reminder notes from your teachers and even direct pay via EFT from your bank if requested.

The side gate will be open for dropping off and picking up your child as normal.  We then require all parents to leave via the main office after signing your child in/out.  This also allows us to maintain a more secure drop off/pick up routine and help keep our kids safe.  We understand change is hard for some but we request your patience and understanding during this transition.  This will also be necessary during our construction which may end up requiring our side gate to be closed periodically during construction.

Monday November 2, Midland Fundraising Catalogue Due
Two weeks ago we sent out a fundraising catalogue that was loaded with tons of great holiday items and gifts for you to purchase. Please turn in orders to Sherilyn in the main office no later than Monday November 2, so that they can be shipped just in time for Christmas.   A percentage of all purchases help raise funds for our new classrooms!

NEWS

THANK YOUS
A BIG BIG thank you to our fabulous Cynthia Vincent "Theanna's mom" who designed and donated our very own Camelot "Recycled" bags to help raise money for our new classrooms.  The bags are available for $12 and are great for shopping or just being Silverlake eco-stylish!

A BIG BIG thank you to Randy "Daisy's dad", for donating our soap box racer!!!. We placed it outside near the bike area and our kids LOVE it!!! We love to put props in the yard and always encourage parents to donate fabulousness to our already rockin' school!

A BIG BIG thanks to Mickey "Guy's dad" for helping us get our computer system networked.  Thanks to him we are now ready to use our EZ Care software which will not only reduces our paper consumption (eco-friendly & no more sign in sheets!!) but also reduce the hours spent on admin and help make Camelot run smoother in the future.

A BIG BIG thanks to the "Frey " family who just recently moved to Hancock Park and graciously donated their $5000 play structure to Camelot.    It has a climbing wall, tire tube swing, lookout, steering wheel, slide, 3 swings and a rope ladder and will fit just perfect in our new extended yard outside our new classrooms.  We cannot wait until it's installed and the kids get to enjoy it.

NEW CLASSROOM UPDATE
After months of planning to make our new eco-friendly classrooms perfect, Tom "Audrey's dad" architect extraordinaire filed for our permits over a month ago and we have a meeting at Building & Safety on Friday 6th ...to go over some final requirements.  Hopefully we will finally pull the permits and be able to start construction!  We are also working with Tom LaBonge's office to help us expedite this process even further. We should be breaking ground shortly, Exciting!

Don't forget to RECYCLE!
We need your plastic, glass and aluminum goodies! Drop them off in the parking lot recycled center.  We recycle and not only help save our planet but funds help buy much needed school supplies.

We are looking forward to wonderful holiday season!!!

Sincerely,
