and nature they will love this hands-on educational experience. His list of
mammals includes an African Bushbaby, a Wallaby from Australia and a Kinkajou!
Mr. Valentine's presentation will also include some reptiles, insects and
snakes, including a Bearded Dragon and a Desert King Snake. If your child does not attend on Thursdays

April 22, 2009 - Celebrate Earth Day!
We want to make a difference for our
children and our community, so we are committed to celebrating Earth Day by
participating in the Silver Lake Chamber of Commerce Green
Committee's "Earth Day Ball" project.
On Earth Day (Wednesday, April 22nd), Silver
Lake Chamber of Commerce Green Committee will be creating a massive plastic
ball (our "Earth Day Ball") made up of plastic bags at Triangle Square in the
Sunset Junction area. The ball will represent the many, many plastic bags
Silver Lake businesses typically use in one year. (For example, one of our
local large grocery stores uses 6,000 plastic bags each month!)
Please help us by bringing in ALL your used plastic bags and drop them in the marked bin in our recycle center. Camelot
will also host the "Earth Ball" on our campus the following year educating our
kids to respect "Mother Earth".
