Cathedral Tour
Take a closer look at the architecture and sacred art of St. John's as the Cathedral Docents lead a tour of our historic building after the 11 o'clock service. The tour will meet at the altar platform about 10 minutes after the end of the postlude.
of note
Formation Class
The annual Formation Class to prepare for Baptism, Confirmation, or Reception into the Episcopal Church and reaffirmation of your faith begins in February. Join us for an rsvp lunch at Clergy House this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. to get more information on this program. Many in our community have found the Formation Class to be a deeply meaningful experience of what it means to commit our life to Christ. Canon Randy Kimmler, the popular leader of the program, will be back again this year.
Lenten Book Group
On Wednesdays throughout Lent, Fr. Lee will host a book group over a potluck supper after the 6:30pm service. We'll be reading The Lemon Tree, a compelling story about the complex and personal dimensions of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. St. John's will provide drinks, but please bring a dish to share. The group will meet for dinner and discussion in the Parish Hall; for more information, see Fr. Lee or Fr. Matt.
Sufism 101
The Guibord Center - Religion Inside Out, now in its second year, has a magnificent slate of programs for 2012 beginning with "Sufism" as the first of the 101 Series. Most consider Sufism as the mystical path of Islam. Please join us on Sunday, February 26th from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm in the Community Room as Noor-Malika Chishti and John Ishvaradas Abdallah lead us on their Sufi Journey. Reception included.

Peace and Justice Committee
If you're interested in issues of social justice, consider attending a Peace and Justice Committee meeting, which takes place the second Sunday of each month. The committee coordinates education, liturgy, and action to raise awareness around peace and justice issues within St. John's and in the greater community. See Fr. Dan for more information. We hope to see you there!
We're planning the new 9am and 11am Spring liturgical rota, so if you've been thinking about serving as an acolyte, usher, lector, etc., let us know! Sign-up in the back of the church, or see Fr. Dan for more information.
