Raith ebeam lithography system upgraded, now faster

RaithCNS recently completed an upgrade to our workhorse Raith 150 ebeam lithography system. This upgrade included the installation of a new pattern generator, control computer, and operating software. These changes allow roughly a doubling in the writing speed. "Most users will see a significant improvement in speed and ease of use" says ebeam specialist Yuan Lu. The Raith's laser stitching capability allows writing of 4 inch wafers, and with the recent upgrade stage motion speed has been significantly improved. Experimentalists waiting for available ebeam time should also note that the Raith system is a much-less-heavily scheduled alternative to our Elionix.
