Bistrot La Minette and The Philadelphia Singers celebrate Love with Chansons d'amour

  

Second Annual Benefit Dinner

featuring authentic French bistro cuisine and atmosphere

showcasing "Songs of Love" by members of The Philadelphia Singers 

 

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Philadelphia Singers will present Chansons d'Amour: A Benefit Dinner for The Philadelphia Singers at the renowned restaurant Bistrot La Minette located at 6th and Bainbridge Streets on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, with seatings at 5:30pm, 6:30pm and 7:30pm. Performances at 7pm and 8pm.  The evening will celebrate a theme of  Love with a fantastic evening of authentic French bistro cuisine, wine and "songs of love" throughout the evening by members of The Philadelphia Singers.

This second annual dinner at Bistrot La Minette continues the much-loved tradition started with Chef Fritz Blank at Deux Cheminées. This year will feature a menu created by Bistrot La Minette's Executive Chef Peter Woolsey and performances by members of The Philadelphia Singers in an authentic French bistro and cabaret atmosphere. All proceeds from the evening benefit The Philadelphia Singers' artistic programs, including the Season Finale Randall Thompson's "Requiem" on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 8:00pm at the Church of the Holy Trinity on Rittenhouse Square. This concert features a rare and surprising work by Thompson and is the first time his "Requiem" has been performed in nearly 30 years. Reservations for the dinner are $150 per person at the Debussy level, $200 per person at the Bizet level and $300 per person at the Berlioz level.
