Fall is in the air. The heat of summer is starting to cool down to a breezy chill and remind us that winter will soon bring the rain and snow. As it becomes cooler, I turn off my air conditioner, open the windows to let in the cooler air, get in bed, and snuggle under my blanket. At night this feels cozy and wonderful. In the morning, though, I wake up with dry, chapped lips. My husband wants to give me that morning kiss and I don't want to kiss anything. The introduction of the dry fall weather where the rain has yet to fall and return the moisture to the air is hard on my lips.
