TO BE INDUCTED INTO PHI BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY |
NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Award winning actor, Abdul-Malik Kashie Yoba, will be inducted into Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 4:00 PM at Ben Benson Steak House in New York City. A special reception will be held following the ceremony at 5:00 PM. The NAACP Image award-winning actor is best known for his co-starring role as NYPD detective J.C. Williams on the popular Fox police drama New York Undercover from 1994 to 1998, and has also appeared in films such as Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married?, Cool Runnings and Criminal. He has made appearances on the Fox television series Arrested Development as Ice, and a recurring character Brock Harris, on the UPN sitcom Girlfriends. Currently, he co-stars as astronaut Ted Shaw on the futuristic ABC drama Defying Gravity. Phi Beta Sigma members interested in attending the Honorary Member Induction Ceremony MUST RSVP to the international headquarters at 202-726-5434. The ceremony and reception will be open those members that RSVP. All members are required to wear dark suit, white shirt and blue tie, no exceptions. Members without proper attire will not be admitted. Once ceremony begins, doors will not be opened, until the reception. |
