$100.00 Cost Savings For Conclave New Orleans

Your Fraternity leaders realize that an economic slowdown is occurring within the country. On Tuesday, April 28th, the General Board approved an extension of the advance registration deadline for our Alumni Brothers through May 30, 2009.  For those  Alumni Brothers who have not yet registered, the advance registration rate of $475.00 is available now through May 30, 2009. This represents a $100 savings to attend the Conclave so act now.

Beginning May 31, 2009, the registration fee for Alumni Brothers will increase to the regular registration rate of $575.00. Please act fast to ensure you get the advanced registration rate of $475.00. If you are mailing in your registration to the corporate office, please know that your form must be post marked no later than May 30, 2009. Please join me in thanking the General Board for agreeing to extend the advance registration period.
Two Collegiate-at-Large Positions up for nomination and election at 2009 Conclave

During Conclave Charlotte 2007, the body approved two additional "elected" seats for collegiate Brothers to serve on the General Board. During the interim, Brothers William Thomas (Eastern Region) and Edward Payton (Southern Region) have been serving as the two additional collegiate members at large (appointed by the President). This brings us to a total of three elected collegiate representative positions on the General Board--two of the positions are at large and the third is the International Second Vice President, currently held by Brother Stephen Kniffley (Great Lakes Region).

At our Conclave in New Orleans, we will have a total of 3 collegiate positions (the International Second Vice President and two - Collegiate-at-large) open for nomination and election of collegiate representatives to the General Board.

Good luck to all of our Collegiate Brothers seeking these positions.
