Greetings!

Spring is in the air! This means that it will not be long now before we see each other in New Orleans this summer for our 95th Anniversary Conclave.
 
We thank everyone who has registered for Conclave 2009 to date. We encourage those of you who plan on being with us in New Orleans to please visit the Fraternity's website at www.pbs1914.org to review and download Conclave information specific to your personal and chapter planning activities.
 
Today, all Chapter Presidents are encouraged to download the Conclave Planning Guide to obtain deadlines for the various forms you need to complete and provide to the Corporate Office as stated. Chapters that have been writing constitutional amendments should now be ready to submit any desired changes for recommendation to the Law and Revision Committee by the deadline date as noted on the form. Our Corporate Office will be mailing to all chapters all proposed changes as required by our constitution 60 days prior to the start of the convention. Your adherence to the published deadline date is critical, if you are to have your change included within the chapter mailing in early May.
 
As you know, our Conclave registration form has been available to download from our website since mid-November of 2008. This resulted in the largest number of Brothers and guest who have ever participated in early bird registration. We tripled the number of early bird registration. Please visit our website to review and download the complete Conclave New Orleans Chapter Registration Packet to learn about airline discounts, ads, and sponsorship information. In addition, for the first time, you are now also able to register and pay for your registration online. However, you still have the opportunity to download and mail your registration form to the Corporate Office. The Registration Packet along with the Chapter Planning Guide will be mailed to your chapter within the next week or so. But, visit our website to secure both today.

Brothers, thank you for all you do for Phi Beta Sigma and working with your leadership to continue making next level service a reality in Sigma. Lastly, if you have not sent in your donation for the Habitat for Humanity house we are building in New Orleans, please go to the website, download a registration form, write in your donation amount and get to the Corporate Office. We will have a press conference in New Orleans on March 21st, announcing our commitment to build a house during the Conclave. Thanks so much.

2009 INTERNATIONAL CONCLAVE
SIGMA BETA CLUB REGISTRATION FEES 
 

This correspondence is to inform you that during the General Board meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana during the weekend of  February 27-28, 2009, the General Board approved the Early Bird Registration rate of $175.00 for all Sigma Beta Clubs members will remain in effect until June 15, 2009. 

 

If your chapter intends to register Sigma Beta Club members for the 2009 National Conclave in New Orleans, Louisiana, please fill out the appropriate Conclave Registration Form and enclose the Registration Form with  a Money Order, Certified or Cashier's Check in the amount of  $175.00 for each Sigma Beta Club member post marked on or before June 15,  2009.  

 

Please note that all registrations for Sigma Beta Club members must be post marked by the deadline date of June 15, 2009, and that beginning June 16, 2009, the registration rate will increase to the onsite registration rate of $325.00 for Sigma Beta Club members.
