The second session of the 3 part workshop will provide a more in-depth look at writing prompts, strategies and activities that will help teachers lead a spoken word poetry club at their school. In addition, the workshop series will culminate with a trip to Chicago's Louder Than a Bomb Youth Poetry Festival, one of the nation's largest youth poetry festivals! Learn about the power of poetry to inspire and bring the best out of your students, helping not only their writing and literacy skills, but building their confidence and creativity as well!
