Learning on Display

Session One
Join Arts @ Large for this Amazing Professional Development Initiative!

A special thank you to all who attended the "Learning on Display" information session. Now Arts @ Large would like to invite you to register for the entire "Learning on Display Initiative".

Featuring workshop presenter and author Linda D'Acquisto, "Learning on Display: Student-Created Museums That Build Understanding", Arts @ Large will present a multiple phase professional development opportunity that will build your skills to help students turn a variety of academic subjects and curriculum into project-based student created museums. This amazing concept will introduce your school to a whole new form of learning using multimedia, literary, visual and performing arts to form interactive classroom museums.

The first of the three-phase initiative with take place on June 2nd, followed by a three day session on June 16th, 17th and 18th.  A follow-up session to help you get your projects up and running will be scheduled in September, 2010.

Our hope is that you will use the student created museums, not only as a way to enhance learning for your classroom, but as an initiative that builds a school-wide movement in the 2010/11 school year and for years to come!  "Learning on Display" is another exciting A@L addition to your teaching toolkit!
