Greetings!
Best wishes to you and yours for a Happy New Year! We have had a great Christmas at NorthStar
Youth Ministries and I thought I would share some of the Christmas cheer with
you. |
Early in December the "Next Step" Sunday School class from
Briarwood Presbyterian Church provided a wonderful Christmas party for our
youth. Their children and about forty
NorthStar children enjoyed producing together a dramatization of the Christmas
story and making Christmas decorations.
Right before Christmas I got word of a very special gift from Andrew Lindeman which will enrich the computer and educational experiences
for our youth for years to come.
 Yesterday I took a van load of NorthStar kids to the first of
three days of the "Ambassador Holiday Camp" provided by Briarwood Soccer
Club. Our youth are receiving both great
soccer skill training and Christian testimony from the camp staff - including
Olympic Gold Medalist Cat Whitehill - and having a lot of fun.
Pray with us that all three of these special gifts provided
for our youth will bear fruit throughout the coming year. It's
not too late to add your own Christmas gift to the youth we serve. If you have already participated with a
year-end financial contribution to our NorthStar Annual Fund, thanks. If you haven't but you would like to do so
then make sure you get your check post-marked by December 31, 2008 in order to
get your 2008 tax credit. Or, you may choose
to contribute using PayPal through our website right up to the stroke of
midnight on December 31st!
