If you are not marketing directly to your customer list, you are throwing away a goldmine.  There are many cost-effective ways to motivate your past clients.  It pays to be sure they know about your latest and greatest products and services.  Remember they have friends and are already sold on your company.  Plus, chances are that over the last year, your industry has lost companies and if your clients have not heard from you lately, they may think your company is no longer in business.

Here are some cost-effective ways to make sure you are on the top of your customers' minds:

Private Sale Letter - Postcard or Email
Now is the time to offer your loyal customers a special offer.  Your competition is doing it, so if you don't, they may grab your business.  You are fortunate to have reliable customers, so please don't take them for granted.

Customer Satisfaction Survey
Why not ask how you are doing as a product or service provider?  It is important to be perceived as a company that is always trying to improve your service.  Consider hiring a company like ours to conduct an independent survey and show your customers that you are confident enough for constructive criticism.  When we provide the objective results, be prepared to listen and in turn be responsive to their suggestions.  A company that proactively improves their service is a company that earns loyalty and referrals.

Start a Fan Page on Facebook
If you are ready and have the staff support, start a fan page and respond to your market's comments and questions.  Think of promotions that will encourage them to share their support with friends.  Each fan is a testimonial and this opens your company up to doing business with their friends and family, growing your company exponentially.  However, do not take this step if you don't intend to keep up your Facebook page, or else your fan base will judge your company to be like your Facebook page: out of date.

Share Your Testimonials
Now that you have so much real estate on your website and through your social media presence, be sure that you share what your customers think about your firm and your work.  For an example of what it can do for you, take a look at what our customers say about us.  You look even better when your satisfied customers speak for you.  Your integrity is underlined by simply showing the quality of your work and revealing the happy customers that your hard work delivers.

If you want to implement these suggestions, but don't have the time or resources in-house, give us a call at (310) 791-6300 or email us at liz@adteamla.com.
