As British Columbians, we are extremely blessed to live not only in one of the most beautiful regions of the world, but also one of the most ethnically and spiritually diverse.
In the interest of developing positive and long-lasting collaborative partnerships between public servants and the myriad faith organizations operating within the Province, the Multifaith Action Society of BC and its partners cordially invite you to a community interfaith dialogue and dinner on the evening of Tuesday, February 22nd, at 7:00pm. Through the opening of cross-cultural dialogue and the shared blessing of a wonderful meal, participants will:
> Identify and discuss key issues for partnership and dialogue in which public servants and faith communities have a shared interest > Help public servants understand the depth and significance of BC's religious diversity > Help faith organizations understand the relevance of the political process to the various faith traditions
Presented in partnership with Northwood United Church, the Baha'i Centre of Vancouver, Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara, the Canadian Singh Sabha Gurdwara, and the Global Hindu Foundation of Canada.
