Tariq Ramadan (PhD, Geneva) is one of the foremost international voices for the understanding of Muslims in the West and Islamic revival in the Muslim world. Educated at the University of Geneva and al-Azhar University, Tariq Ramadan is Professor of Contemporary Islamic Studies at Qatar University. Professor Ramadan has written over twenty books, including The Quest for Meaning: Developing a Philosophy of Pluralism, What I Believe, and Radical Reform: Islamic Ethics and Liberation.
