Proverb, is the title of the first post on our new Astia Notes blog - yet another
vehicle to stay connected with the Astia community. In the coming months, we look forward to
spotlighting members of the Astia community here; so stay tuned and join the
conversations.
As you will have noticed, we
have many moving parts at Astia and it may have you wondering - just how can I

Astia Company Spotlight
 LearnVest is a free, local online personal finance community for women with access to experts for personal financial support.  Kathleen Toland currently serves as a Strategic Account Representative with Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), providing product development solutions to Fortune 5000 high-tech manufacturers in the Semiconductor and Medical Device industries. Kathleen has over 13 years of sales and business development expertise; working for and with emerging growth companies.
Kathleen has been involved with the Astia community for over a decade, beginning 1999 when she initiated the process of building the first mentorship program for the Women's Technology Cluster. She has supported countless companies over the years; helping to refine business plans, craft fund-raising pitches, negotiate critical business development relationships and define winning sales plans. Cambridge offers unique opportunity for female entrepreneurs to gain qualification while pursuing a business idea. The University of Cambridge is offering an exciting new opportunity to aspiring entrepreneurs to gain a recognised qualification in Entrepreneurship. The Advanced Diploma in Entrepreneurship, jointly created by Professional Studies at the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE)* and the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL) based at Judge Business School, will start in September 2009.
