Greetings! Historically we have sent out only one notice to members when their membership is about to expire. As busy as most people are these days, we realize it is very easy to overlook this single notice. We have, therefore, decided to send out a second notice and invitation to all the members who have not renewed in the past 12 months. If you have already renewed, please feel free to ignore this invitation. Because about half of these people have email addresses, we also decided to try using email for these folks. This helps us save on postage costs at a time when funds are very tight. We hope you don't mind and understand. |

We invite you to renew your
membership in ASD. Not
only will you be joining your fellow
dowsers, but you
will be supporting the organization
that brings
dowsers together in so many ways.

How to Join ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are many ways to join all of
which are available
on the ASD website at
www.dowsers.org and clicking
on the "Join ASD" link on the left
hand side of the
homepage. There you can find forms
that can be
printed and mailed via the Postal
Service. You also have
the ability to join online,
and you
may also join by
telephone by calling us at 802-684-
3417.

Recent Letter from Mary "Mo" Wheeler ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I remember when a friend handed me a Life Saver on
a string and said, “Here, Mo,try this.” It launched me
on my dowsing career and dowsing has been my life
saver ever since! I know that energy testing feels the
same for many of you, and I think of it as simply
another method of dowsing, or divining--for me it is a
back up or alternative method. I am always surprised
when there are so few of you at the Dowsers’
Convention. It is either reasonably priced or downright
cheap, the people are wonderful, and the
presentations can really expand your consciousness
and learning. Beginners are welcomed with open
arms.
So this is to encourage you to join the American
Society of Dowsers, seek out a local chapter, and
attend the convention this summer. Membership only
costs $40 a year and you can join online at
www.dowsers.org. Not all local chapters appear to
be listed, so you may have to persevere to find the one
nearest you. The convention is going to be at
Killington Grand Hotel and Resort in Killington, VT
from August 8-13, with the conference over the
weekend. I hope to see you there!
