- Madison Episcopal churches have united to form a Madison Episcopal Facebook page. This will be a one-stop place for all events, offerings, workshops, you-name-it, Episcopal in the Madison area. You don't need a Facebook account to view the page. If you do have an account, please join the group so you can be sure to stay in the loop of this wonderful community-building resource. See it here.
- Food is often stored in the kitchen by Grace Groups for later use. Please do not use any food found in the kitchen that is not marked "free to use" as you just might throw off a carefully orchestrated plan and upset the balance of the universe. That would be bad.
- Oscar Rozo will be ordained to the transitional diaconate on April 21 at St. Paul's Milwaukee. More details forthcoming in the next edition of GraceNotes. On April 22, Oscar will be participating in services at Grace, preaching and serving at the altar at 8:00 and at a joint service with the Hispanic congregation at 10:00. We invite contributions toward an ordination gift for him. Please write "Oscar Rozo" on your envelope or in the memo line of your check. As this is simply a combined effort to pool our funds to purchase him a gift, such as a stole, contributions are not tax deductible, but a wonderful opportunity to show him how much we care and wish him well.

Outer Loop Construction has begun
N. Fairchild (from Mifflin to W. Washington Ave) will be closed from March 12 to April 20. S. Fairchild (from W. Wash to S. Hamilton) will be closed from April 20 to June 29. In addition, W. Washington Ave. will be one lane of traffic inbound from Henry to Carroll from March 12 to April 20.
While access to our alley will be preserved throughout the process, the construction will disrupt parking, deliveries, and access. Sidewalks and crosswalks will be maintained for the duration of the project. Handicap parking will be available on Carroll Street. Remember that we offer parking vouchers for the Overture Center ramp. Please see a member of the Usher's Guild.
If you have any questions about this, please contact me or a staff member.

Explorers Meeting this Sunday, March 18
St. Dunstan's, 6:30 p.m. Are you seeking an opportunity to explore our journeys as Anglican Christians with other members of the faith community? If so, the monthly gathering of St. Dunstan's Explorers may be for you. We meet from 6:30-8:00 p.m. for a simple potluck supper and fellowship, reflection, and conversation. The gathering provides participants a forum in which to raise questions and address topics at our spiritual and theological "cutting edges" in a supportive and non-judgmental setting. Please join us. This month's topic is the Anglican Communion, looking especially at the roots of current conflicts and the role of the African Anglican churches. Rev. Miranda will share from her research as an anthropologist before attending seminary.
Calling all Plastic Eggs! Easter morning at Grace will feature an egg hunt for the kids! If you have extra plastic eggs, we need them. Plastic eggs can be left at the back of the Nave or in the downstairs reception area office. The more the merrier!
Happening Reunion set for May 19 HAPPENING has been a long running program in our diocese that has helped shape and form the spiritual life of youth. With all programs it is good to take time to look at our successes and areas that need work. On May 19th, a HAPPENING Reunion will be held at St. Aidan's in Hartford from 9am to 4pm. This event is for ANYONE who has ever been part of the HAPPENING program. This means elders, adults, young adults, and youth from any HAPPENING event ever held in ourdiocese. We will have time to meet up with old and new friends along with visioning for the future of HAPPENING. We will provide snacks and lunch. The cost is $15. Registration deadline is April 8th. You can register here: http://www.diomil.org/christian-formation/youth If you have any questions, please email or call me. Blessings!

A New Season in the Grace Garden
After many faithful years of tending to bulbs and weeds, long-time Grace Garden Group Chair, Jane Henning has rightfully earned a rest.
The gardens of Grace are now in need a few new hands to organize their seasonal transformations. Grace member, Mary Ann Germanson, is leading the search for a handful of people who would be willing to become a part of a seasonal management team of all things green and growing at Grace.
"I thought it might be a good idea to have several people fill the role of Garden Chair. Once a basic plan is in place, each person could take on the tasks of one particular season at Grace, so that no one person would be expected to handle coordinating an entire year," notes Germanson.
If you have a passion for digging in the dirt, whether you are a seasoned gardener or simply someone interested in doing what it takes to keep the gardens beautiful, please contact Mary Ann at germm@tds.net or 216-9068.
This opportunity is especially perfect for urbanites lacking greenspace of their own.
