TRUST DELIVERS!

Daniel 3:28 (NIV)
 28 Then Nebuchadnezzar said, "Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king's command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.
 
Daniel 6:23 (NIV)
23 The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.
 
Jeremiah 39:18 (NIV)
18 I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in me, declares the LORD.' "
 
When you look at these verses, you can't help but notice that TRUST is the key to our deliverance, whatever kind of deliverance you need-spiritual, physical, financial, etc.  All we have to do is trust in God, and He will rescue us from the hard situations we are facing.  It sounds and looks so simplistic; how can something so big be so simple?  But it is the actual doing that is challenging.
 
When we look at the definition of TRUST:  Reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.  Confident expectation of something; hope.  A person on whom or thing on which one relies:  God is our trust.
 
We see that trusting in God is the only kind of trust that delivers what we are reaching for, because we have a confident expectation in the one we are relying on, God.  This we see is the same as FAITH, so our trust in God is the same as our Faith in God
 
Heb 11:1-2 (NIV)
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.
 
So let us learn from the ancients who trusted in God, who had faith in God so that they could be delivered.  Like the three Hebrew Children, Daniel, Jeremiah and many others, we too can be delivered, rescued or saved.  Our God is Almighty.  He is the beginning and the end; He has everything that we need, let us put our trust in Him.
