During the last Friday Night prayer meeting, the Lord focused us on the healing of the paralytic man that was brought to Jesus by his friends. His friends displayed the kind of faith that would not quit even though they were faced by obstacles that made it difficult to get to Jesus. They climbed to the roof and removed the tiling in order to get their friend to Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith expressed in this way, he spoke to the paralyzed man and said, "your sins are forgiven". How amazing that the Lord would speak this words without the man or the friends asking for forgiveness.

We are surrounded by many that are spiritually paralyzed in their sin and need a friend to bring them to the Lord. As important as it is to spend time with those that are other growing  Christians, we must not forget those that will not make it to Jesus on their own (pre- Christians).

The Lord said that it is the sick that have the need for a physician (Jesus), not the whole. Followers of Christ are physician's assistants with a simple task - bring people to Jesus! 

As friend day approaches let us remember our paralyzed friends and let us stop at nothing until we have brought them at the feet of the Master so that they too may hear him say to them, "your sins are forgiven".
