That night she compiled a listing of all these statements by student. The next day she gave each of her students their very own list, with all of the good things their peers wrote about them. 

 

Many years later, one of her former students passed away in an automobile accident, and the mother of the deceased found this very same list folded up in her son's wallet. As she read it, she was so moved by it that she decided to have it read during the eulogy at her son's memorial service. Other former students were in attendance at this memorial, and they began to speak about their own lists. One opened up his wallet and pulled out his list, and another one pulled hers out of her purse. A Former student who had become a very successful business man told of how he kept his list in his desk drawer at his office. They all said how much these words of appreciation and affirmation had impacted them to this very day.
 
The words we speak are incredibly powerful and have deep lasting effect for either good, or bad.
 
Rom 12:14  "Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not."
 
The Lord is challenging us not to just bless other Christians and our loved ones, but to bless everyone that we come in contact with, saved and unsaved, employers as well as employees, friends as well as enemies.
 
Through our words we can either release Life or Death.
 
Lord help us to release words of Life and your Blessing everyday.
