Most of the time, I feel like this botany professor that I have heard about.  When this professor began his college education, he studied all the different kinds of plants, their growth, reproduction cycles, etc. But as he went on to get his master's degree, and eventually his doctorate, the scope of his studies began to narrow.  After learning about all plants, he began to focus on fruit trees, and then one specific fruit tree. By the end of his studies, he became an expert on one kind of tree wart that only affected that one kind of fruit tree. He learned more and more about less and less, until he knew just about every thing, about absolutely nothing.
 
The more I learn about Jesus Christ, the more I realize how much I don't know.
 
Lord Jesus, help us become and always remain as little children, humble, and teachable.
