Grace and Peace to You!
In Revelation 21:5, God says "Behold, I make all things new." This is His word to you! This is a season of new beginnings. We are awakening to the goodness of the Lord, and the reality of His Kingdom. This is the day that the Lord has made!
Join us this Sunday as we gather in His Presence. May the Lord refresh you and your family as you shine for Him in this world!
Love in Jesus,
Caleb and Rachel Klinge, Lead Pastors.

In John 10:27 Jesus said that His sheep hear his voice. All of us have the wonderful blessing of having conversations with God. Several times in the gospels we see the Father speaking from heaven in an audible voice declaring, "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased." We see Jesus speaking to Saul of Tarsus in Acts 9, but those that were around him thought it thundered. I believe it is the will of the Lord to speak to us like he spoke to Moses, face to face like a man speaks to his friend. Why not, since He Himself has called us "friends", in John 15:14, and not merely His servants. Unfortunately, a cultural and traditional Christianity has trained most of us to settle for a relationship with God that is void of any true conversation with him. Many in the church today cannot claim to have the testimony of Abraham, who had dinner and conversations with the Lord. Scripture tells us that God does not change and that he is not a respecter of persons; therefore, all of us are qualified in Christ to hear the voice of God. Just as He did not hide anything from Abraham, He desires to reveal to us the mysteries of the Kingdom. His voice may come to us in an open vision, an audible voice, a small still voice, a revelation from the scriptures, an impression, a dream, etc. The emphasis should never be on how God spoke as long as He spoke. His word spoken in a small still voice is as powerful as in a thundering audible voice. Rather than focus on the "how", let us avail and quiet ourselves in His presence and, like young Samuel, say "here I am Lord, speak for your servant is listening." |
