NewlifeNew Year Greetings!

Happy New Year! 2008 is a year of New Beginnings, and Jesus is the One Who makes all things new!

We are dedicating January 2-9 to prayer and fasting (as the Lord leads) for 2008 and a time to consecrate ourselves. Consecrate means "to dedicate to divine purpose". Join us by taking extra time during these days to dive into God's Word, worship Him & pray for His Kingdom to come and His will to be done "on earth as it is in heaven" in specific areas.

May the love of the God, the grace of Jesus Christ, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you and your family in an ever-deepending way.

Love and Blessings,

Caleb and Rachel Klinge, Lead Pastors.

Men Ought Always To Pray
by Isaac Munene

Pastor Caleb once said that prayer is one of the most resisted activities on earth, and he was right about that. We see that prayer is not only resisted by the enemy but our flesh is also weak when it comes to prayer, even though the spirit is willing. Jesus said in Lk 18 that men ought always to pray and not faint. He then went ahead and told the parable of the persistent widow who continually came before an unjust judge to seek justice until he gave into her demands because of her continual coming. The moral of the story was; if an unjust judge could yield to the plea of a widow because of her persistence, how much more will a just God hear His children that cry to Him day and night! Jesus revealed to us that God will hear his children "speedily".

As we begin 2008, we have dedicated Wednesday the 2nd through Wednesday the 9th as a time of consecration through prayer and fasting. Let us join together in this first week of the year to seek God for His divine purpose so that we may align ourselves with it and set an atmosphere of His presence in our lives in this New Year. May God bless you abundantly in 2008!
