| Cancer Hopes: A Christian Support Group for Cancer Survivors Begins April 20th in West County St Louis
There is something precious about being with others who understand your struggles because they've been there and understand your hope because they share your faith. That is the concept behind Cancer Hope, a Christian Cancer Support Group for anyone ever diagnosed with cancer. Led by licensed therapist Karen Tripp MS, each group will focus on the difficulties of coping with cancer as well as it's impact on your faith.
The Cancer Hope support group is more than a place for Christians to share their struggles physically, emotionally and spiritually, it's a place to learn how to cope.
The group will run every first and third Monday of the month from 7:00-8:30 PM at St John Lutheran Church Ellisville. (10 minutes south of 40/64 on Clarkson) Click here for directions. The cost is $5.00 per session. To register call Julie Lorenz at 636-394-4100. |

The Greater St Louis Hospice Organization (GSLHO) Spring Grief Conference a Success! Karen Tripp is the Keynote Speaker.
On March 21st, Karen was honored to present to 150 bereaved individuals at the St John Mercy Medical Center Conference facility. Her topic Coping with Loneliness and Grief strongly impacted the participants by providing not only an in depth looks at loneliness but a plentiful supply of coping strategies. "When I attend a conference I like to gain a better understanding of the subject but I also want to know what to do next, "said speaker, Karen Tripp. "That's why I like to provide a large variety of coping strategies so the participants can choose the ones that work for them."
