It is impossible to be a Christian and not feel the impact of the pastor's death at the hands of a gunman yesterday in Maryville, IL. If there is any place that feels like a refuge, it's a church and yet yesterday's violence makes us also question that belief.
As we process this information, our children are absorbing this news story as well. What do we say to our children? Do we ignore it or address it directly? Questions for God is the name of a video series that is debuting on YouTube this week. The goal of the project is to provide concise yet impactful teaching on the questions many Christians have for God.
The first video in this series is "I've Prayed so Why am I Still Sick?" which directly addresses the struggles common to Christians when someone we love is ill. Too often we've been on our knees, begging God for healing yet the illness has not gone away.
