NJ STATE SENATORS NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU TODAY!
 

Please call every State Senator with and tell them that you support in-state tuition for our vulnerable and often voiceless undocumented children. Remember this is not an immigration bill, THIS IS AN EDUCATION BILL!!! The bill will not cost the state anything, not a single dime to the New Jersey taxpayers. It will benefit the state by allowing these students to get their degrees and be more productive members of our Garden State. As a reminder, the bill says that an undocumented student would be eligible to pay for college tuition out of their own pockets at the “in-state rate”

ONLY if they meet all of the following criteria:
1. Attend at least three years of high school in New Jersey;
2. Graduate a New Jersey high school or get an equivalent GED.
3. Sign a confidential affidavit stating that as soon as they are eligible to file for legal status that they will do so.

PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME THAT SOMEONE ELSE IS GOING TO MAKE CALLS FOR YOU. AND PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME THAT YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW THEY ARE VOTING. PLEASE DO CALL YOUR SENATOR(S) IMMEDIATELY AND GET THEIR FIRM COMMITMENT TO THE BILL.

Remember, our undocumented children need your voice and support. They have done nothing wrong other than to come to the U.S. as children and attend school in New Jersey, some as early as age 1 and know of only one home, The United State of America and The State of New Jersey. They do not have the capacity to call their State Senators BUT YOU DO. Please make the calls today. We will not get another shot at this bill after tomorrow.
