Regional Operations Board meets in Orlando
Regional vice presidents from the eight IIE regions in the United States and Canada met on May 18 prior to the opening of the IIE Annual Conference and Expo in Orlando, Fla. Also attending the meeting were Joan Wagner, past senior vice president of regional operations; Patrick Foxworthy of the IIE Young Professionals Group; and Joe Wilck, assistant vice president of student development.
The meeting was led by Michael Foss, senior vice president of regional operations, and centered on discussion of strategic direction for the most effective operation of IIE's regions and chapters. Board members also reviewed current policies with regards to chapter management, effectiveness of social media, volunteer leadership training, student development, regional conferences, RVP election process, region websites and the K-12 Outreach Project.
