2012 SEMS Management Award Winner Announced

The SEMS Management award recognizes an IIE/SEMS member who is distinguished in the practice of management and industrial engineering. It is our pleasure to announce Dr. Sreekanth Ramakrishnan from IBM as the winner of the 2012 SEMS Management Award. The award will be formally presented at the SEMS Town Hall Meeting (Monday May 21, 2012 - 5:15pm) at the Annual IIE Conference.

The SEMS Student Initiatives Committee hosted two webinars in April: Research in an Engineering Management Career led by Dr. George Waters of George Washington University and Getting Your Research Published, What Not To Do... led Dr. Toni Doolen of Oregon State University. One webinar was held in May entitled, Getting Your Research Published by Dr. Srinivas Talluri of Michigan State University.
