Mark Graban blogs on Steve Markovich's keynote address, "Bringing Value to Your CEO." Steve Markovich is president of Riverside Methodist Hospital in the OhioHealth System. Mr. Markovich is also a family practice physician, Brigadier General in the Ohio National Guard and an F-16 fighter pilot.

Neil Goldfarb, the executive director of the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health, was a guest lecturer at the Temple University Fox School of Business Seminar Series. His presentation addressed the impact of value-based purchasing on healthcare providers and consumers.

SHS Member chosen for IIE New Faces of Engineering Program

Kristen GoinKristin Goin, strategy consultant for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, was recently selected by
IIE for the New Faces of Engineering program. Kristin was featured in an ad in USA Today during the recent Engineers Week. The program, sponsored by the National Engineers Week Foundation, highlights the contributions of
