President's message
What's a talented IE like you doing in the Process Industries?
Yes! Literally! Your division would like to know what you're doing? During the next quarter we plan to put together a survey. We'd like to know what you're doing, what tools you're using, and how much success you're enjoying doing what you do. We'd like to know what your road blocks are, and what training would be helpful to leverage your experience and talent. More from the president

PID at the Annual Conference
PID has another strong track of presentations set for the 2010 annual IIE conference in Cancún, Mexico, in June. Joe Paris has done a great job in lining up papers that will be helpful to process industry IEs. Our track starts at 8 a.m. Monday, June 7. Six presentations are planned. Our town meeting will be held at 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 8.
If you plan to attend the conference, I encourage you to stop in for our Town Hall meeting as well as the presentations..This is an opportunity to meet other IIE members with similar challenges to those you face day-to-day. It's also an opportunity to be heard - to have an influence on PID activities and direction, to provide education and networking that will help YOU.
