NEW! from Sapsis Rigging: The Technician

Technician's Harness
ProPlus: The Technician™

The Technician™ harness is designed for use by those whose work requires using multiple safety systems at one time. Climbing a wire rope ladder to reach a truss and then traversing along the truss is one example of a multiple safety system requirement.

Only one snap hook or other connector is allowed to be attached to a fall arrest ring at any time, per OSHA requirements. The Technician™ harness is equipped with two dorsal rings, one of which is attached to the end of a 9" extension. The extension allows the worker to meet the OSHA requirement and makes it easier to connect to a Self Retracting Lifeline (SRL).

Harness specifications:

  • Cross over style
  • Dorsal and sternum rings
  • Additional extended dorsal ring
  • Hip rings for work positioning
  • Shoulder adjustment points
  • Adjustable leg straps
  • Sub-pelvic strap
  • Leg and shoulder pads for comfort
  • 1.75" Polyester webbing
  • Bayonet buckle connectors

Meets or exceeds ANSI Z359.1-2007

The Long Reach Long Riders Announce
10th Annual Charity Motorcycle Ride

The 10th annual Long Reach Long Riders charity motorcycle ride, dubbed "Ten Great Years and Five Great Lakes" by the ride organizers, is scheduled to begin on June 28th in the Great Lakes region of the USA. Over the 8 day trip the riders will have an opportunity to visit, and stick their toes into, all five of the Great Lakes as well as ride some of the best bike roads in the area.

Scott Henkels, 2013 Ride Marshal noted, "It was time to bring the ride back east. The area around the Great Lakes offers great scenery, terrific roads and the weather in late June is usually perfect for a ride. Holding the 10th anniversary ride here also puts the ride in a great geographic location, easily accessible to more riders from the US and Canada.

Greg Williams, 2012 Ride Marshal along with his wife Alice Neff, also commented "The 2012 ride raised over $51,000 for the charities and with the opportunity to add more riders we are hoping to raise even more in 2013."

In 2004 the Long Reach Long Riders began riding for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The ESTA Foundations' Behind the Scenes program. Since that first ride this group of entertainment industry professionals has raised more than $350,000.00. Over the years the Long Reach Long Riders have traversed the United States 3 times, visited the canyons and deserts of the Southwest and the coastal highways of the Pacific Northwest, and have
ridden through New England and along the scenic highways of the Southeast.
