| Carriers Adopt a No Documentation No Load Policy |
| Effective October 1st the carriers serving the USA Export trade will adopt a no documentation no load policy. Failure to present documents (AES filing included) prior to the prescribed cutoff will result in export containers not moving on the intended vessel. This will also result in demurrage charges being accessed against the shipper.
AGL is requesting that documents be sent to us well in advance of the vessel departure. |
| Booking/Space Update-September |
To our valued clients
We are still experiencing delays in booking and equipment, however the wait times have somewhat lessened from the 4-6 week wait to approximately 2-3 weeks in most trades.
We'll continue to ask that you preplan your container requirements and pre-book as early as possible to ensure your containers move as needed.
Thank you for your support and understanding, we appreciate your business.
Sincerely,
Frank D'Ambra
President
