Devotion:

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23

How is Kingswood transforming lives in this area?

When I first saw this particular daily reading, I knew that this was a devotion that I would be able to write about. I see Kingswood transforming lives everyday in the Parent's Day Out program. The fruit of the Spirit is transforming and touches the lives of the parents, children and teachers.

We are four weeks into the school year and I have witnessed this scripture reading as the  parents bring their children to class, some whom have never been left in the care of anyone else. This particular situation happened last week. We have a good majority of Japanese families attending. A dad called that his wife was going to be late, because of the road construction and she was stuck in traffic. He said to me "please, please take care of my little girl until my wife can get there". I promised him that we would take good care of her, until mom arrived.  The fruit of the Spirit moves us everyday in this ministry area in a very postive and spiritual way.
