Why you ask? Because football season has officially kicked off! An added bonus? We are now open on Sundays. If you feel like you need to get away from the football frenzy, stop on by for some laid back shopping.

Starting this Sunday, September 27th, the shop will be open from noon to 5pm. And if you can't tear yourself away from your Sunday football routine, here are our regular store hours:

• Thursday 9:30am - 8:00pm
• Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm

When the Learning Tower first arrived at Bellani, I was beyond excited. Having read all about it on mom blogs, I knew it's potential to turn my boring old kitchen into the holy grail of fun. We bought it and I can honestly say it's our favorite purchase to date. If you're thinking about buying one, don't think you're just getting a step stool for cooking. Here are some of the many ways we use the Learning Tower in our home.

• For mealtimes, we set up our toddler with a few ingredients she can chop or mix up. She loves being part of the process and has developed a real love for cooking.
• When we need a few minutes to clean the kitchen or just to read a book, I let her wash dishes. This one works double duty - I get some me time and I clean dishes!
• Since adding a second little girl to our brood, it's a bit tougher getting out of the house. When she needs to get some energy out, we'll run around the house and she always ends up climbing up and down the Learning Tower. We create a kind of obstacle course; it's a great way to lead up to nap time!
• Most of our cabinets in the kitchen are kid friendly with lots of great food items. Now when my daughter wants something, she scoots the Learning Tower over to what she wants and climbs on up to get it. I love that it allows her to be so independent and in a way that's safe (considering she's tried to climb the counter by getting on top of our garbage can!)

We now have several of these in stock. They would make a special little one in your life very, very happy! It comes in great colors and adjusts to accomadate to their size. Even though we've only had it about 3 months and enjoy it immensely, I look forward to the best feature. Being able to have both my daughters stand on it and bake goodies with me!

This week we're filling you in on one of our favorites. If you're a design junkie then you will adore Sarah Nelson and Sarah Forss' Alphabeasties. This book uses different typefaces to create fun animal images. It's a book both parents and kids will love. Trust us when we tell you won't be able to take your eyes off of it!
