To my friends at Bellani Maternity: Whether you have attended one of my classes or have been with me for three years strong you are special to me. This is what makes this letter so difficult to write. As many of you know, prior to having children, I was a school teacher for 6 years. Last month, a former Principal of mine reached out to me and asked if I would consider a return to the classroom. After much thought, I decided this was an opportunity I couldn't pass up and accepted a Third Grade teacher position for a school only two towns from my home.

Unfortunately with that good news comes the hard part. After this session, I will no longer be instructing at Bellani. This is extremely hard for me due to the countless incredible people that I have met through my years there. I have learned so much and will always smile upon the great memories built in the green and orange room. I hope to stay in touch with some blogging and special events that take place at the store. Kelly and Shannon have been amazing mentors and have worked hard to fill my position with outstanding staff (if I do say so myself).

I hope you (whoever is reading this right now) know how much I will miss you and the work I was so lucky to have done at Bellani Maternity. Getting teary eyed now, must sign out. Love you all. Namaste, Miss Lisa

The Best Art Class for Rhode Island is our very own Little Van Gogh! For the second year in a row, Miss Andrea has won again for the top art spot to unleash your inner Picasso.

This class gives children the opportunity to explore and create kid-friendly art masterpieces in an environment suited specifically for the age. Studies show that early exposure to art experiences can enhance brain development in children. This class offers an introduction to a variety of art mediums (paint, clay, water colors, smudge crayons) in a way that encourages sensory awareness and intuitive thinking. Famous artists are introduced in a way for children to replicate their work laying the foundation for creativity. This class is for our 18 - 48 month olds.

Saturday: 9:30 - 10:15 am
